On PS3 we have trophies which has the exact tasks to do as Xbox. Sometimes there's exclusives awards sometimes not. And yes some are given for just taking a few steps east. Or the other extreme that you must do something ridiculous. But trophies offer something more than that. Well first of all for the find secrets and collect all of whatever just makes sure you find everything they took the time to make. And a game without something hidden is just terrable... Because you always know whats gonna happen and yatta yatta... Plus I haven't seen anyone make fun of anyone for not having such and such trophies. What's good about trophies is that if you say you did something then trophies prove it to those anoying noobs that pummel you with spam saying "no you didn't no you didn't."
So yes they both have good and bad parts to them.

P.S. Newgrounds is getting achievements! If you don't like achievements then your gonna be in for something soon.... More and more games are gettin em.....

They aren't as cool as the bouncers but I think they are waay hard to kill! It'de be he'de hop out of the vita-chamber and a nail flies in his head>.< lol

Neat animation... good voice acting and some funny puns.... Lol bioshock:D
